France part 1 (10.09.-14.09.)
Bonjour mes amis,
We left Kreuzlingen at 5 o’clock in the morning whith sleeping kids and a can of coffee.
After a stop for breakfast near the border in Francewe reached the simple but beautiful “Camping municipal La Garenne“ next to the “Loire“ river in “Bas en basset“ at noon.
We knew, France is one of Europe’s camping’s paradise, but 7,50 Euros per day for the tent, the car and the four of us blew us away.
The nights and especially the early mornings were
freezing, because of the wet fog of the nearby river, but from about 10 o’clock
we had sunshine the whole day.
At the playground (You could subtitle our trip
“International playground hopping“ ) the Kids had their first contact with
foreign languages. Especially Alma learned to prevail by facial play, gesture
and body language...
We also became friends with 3 German guys, who
are musicians too.
They even came to the first gig in Firminy at the collège as roadies, managers, photograhers and bodyguards ;-).
On Sunday, we headed to Barcelona with a short
break in Sète, where we had the first swim in the sea after a very long time.
A bientot!!
